The club continues to thrive with a very active membership taking part in both league and social bowling.
The social side remains strong with well supported friendly matches, club competitions, away days, BBQ's and fun bowling sessions.
Also during this winter some members have enjoyed a short holiday to see the World Indoor Bowls competition at Potters Leisure Centre in Norfolk and a two week bowling holiday in Cyprus.
While the charitable trust to which we belong was established to benefit the residents of Wistaston and Rope, we accept members from outside this area.
We have an attractive setting and have been complimented on several occasions by the judges of Britain in Bloom on our general upkeep and floral displays.
Apart from vertidraining and hedge cutting, ( we have over 200 yards of conifer hedge ) all work on the green, surrounds and building is done on a voluntary basis by our members.
Our age range runs from eleven to the nineties and we are always keen to welcome new members.
